Boho Luxe | Styled Shoot at Silchester Farm

This styled shoot has all the neutral boho goodness that we've been obsessing over lately! Shoot organiser and floral arranging extraordinaire Megan, of Smoke and Thistle, took the popular boho trend and added a touch of glamour and a luxury feel.

The Dress

This shoot could have easily featured a bohemian style gown, but to create that boho-luxe feel Megan opted for a sleek, fitted crepe dress instead. The dress boasts statement floral-esque sleeves and a plunging neckline. Very chic, very modern - yet it fits in beautifully with the decor and theme of the shoot.

The Stationery

For the menus, a neutral colour palette has been chosen. Lots of lovely clean lines and classic fonts have been used, this adds a modern and sophisticated look to the more boho and textural elements used across the rest of the table scape.

The Flowers

Megan wanted to create a floral arrangement that combined both real and dried flowers. The wonderful thing about using dried flowers for your wedding is being able to keep them and repurpose them as decor within your home. Soft and delicate neutral tones have been incorporated into each of the floral arrangements, with the pampas grass giving that nod to the boho trend. The gorgeous white flowers don't look too dissimilar to the shoulder detail of the dress and compliment it beautifully.

The Venue

The shoot took place in the Cow Shed at Silchester Farm; a working farm set among the lush green fields of Hampshire. With multiple barns and outdoor locations to host your ceremony, it is truly picturesque - a venue like no other. Inside the Cow Shed, the dark ceiling and walls are creating a moody and intimate setting for your wedding breakfast, while the enormous windows with farmland views allow the light to flood in. The decor blends history and modern touches seamlessly, mixing antique furniture and industrial design elements. Whatever your style, you can make this venue your own.

The Hair & Make Up

This gorgeous low ponytail is soft and romantic, it oozes understated glamour. For make up, the skin looks dewy and radiant, creating a beautiful bridal glow. The lipstick and eyeshadow used are in lovely soft golden tones, where as the winged eye liner stands out and draws attention to the eyes.

A massive thank you to all of the suppliers who got involved in this shoot, we are so grateful to have been asked to take part!
